Yut Nori Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Yut Nori apps on Android phones, iPhone, Android TV, and the web board at yutnori.party (the "Service"), operated by Jacobs Factory.

1. Information we collect

• Gameplay data: a device-generated player ID, the nickname you enter, room codes, and in-game actions (throws, moves) needed to run matches.
• Kakao login (optional): Kakao user id, nickname, and profile image. You can play without signing in.
• Google and Apple sign-in (optional): when you choose to sign in, we receive the provider account id (sub), your display name (or nickname), and profile picture if available. Apple may share your name only on the first sign-in. These are used only to link your account so you keep the same player across reinstalls and devices, and to show your profile. You can play without signing in.
• Advertising (Google AdMob): advertising ID, device and app information, and approximate location as processed by Google for ad serving and measurement. Personalized ads are shown only with your consent where required (EEA/UK). Without consent we request non-personalized ads.
• Crash and usage analytics (Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics): crash logs, device/app version, and limited usage events (for example game start/end and remove-ads purchase). Collection follows your consent choices from the Google UMP form where applicable.
• Payments (remove ads): Google Play or the App Store process payments. We do not receive card numbers; we only verify purchase entitlement on the device.
• Camera: used only to scan a QR code to pair with a TV board. Images are not stored or uploaded by the Service.
• We do not request contacts, photo library, or microphone access. Shake-to-throw uses on-device motion sensors only.

2. How we use information

• Create and run game rooms, friend invites, live play, and TV/web board pairing
• Keep you signed in as the same player when you use Kakao or other social login
• Show ads and confirm remove-ads purchases
• Measure stability (crashes) and improve the Service with aggregate analytics
• Prevent abuse and diagnose errors

3. Retention

• Room data is used for active play and is not kept after a room ends or is abandoned.
• Kakao (or other social) link records are deleted when you unlink in the app or through the provider.
• Nickname and local settings are removed when you uninstall the app.
• Crash and analytics data are retained according to Google Firebase policies.

4. Sharing and processors

• We do not sell personal information.
• We use processors to operate the Service: Cloudflare (servers), Kakao (login), Google (AdMob ads, Play Billing, Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics), Apple (App Store billing), and Google or Apple as social login providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
• Servers may run on Cloudflare’s global network outside your country.

5. Your choices

• Unlink Kakao (or other social login) or delete the app to remove stored identity links and local settings.
• In the EEA/UK, use Privacy options in Settings (when shown) or your device ad settings to change ad personalization.
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads. iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion.

6. Children

The Service is a general all-ages board game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for child-directed experiences.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new effective date.

9. Data deletion (Google, Apple, Kakao sign-in)

• To remove social login data, open the app and sign out / unlink in Settings. This deletes the link record (provider account id, name, profile picture) from our servers.
• You can also remove the app from your provider account: Google → Account → Security → Third-party connections; Apple → Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple. Then email us to delete the remaining link.
• To request deletion by email, send the sign-in provider you used and your in-app nickname to contact@jacobs-factory.com. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
